The Role:
You’ll manage a mixed residential conveyancing caseload (including high-value transactions) from instruction to post-completion, while helping to develop the practice.
Key responsibilities
- Acting for buyers and sellers on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Reviewing, drafting and amending contracts, deeds, reports and client letters
- Title review, raising/answering enquiries, submitting searches and handling HMLR formalities
- Managing exchange, completion and post-completion (SDLT, AP1/OS, requisitions)
- Advising on remortgages, mortgage redemption, transfers of equity and secured lending
- Handling residential tenancies/licences and advising on new-build transactions
- Contributing to BD/marketing and client relationship growth
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor (3+ PQE) with proven residential conveyancing experience
- Confident managing a varied, time-critical caseload autonomously and as a team player
- Client-centric communicator with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Comfortable with modern case management systems and hybrid working
